Rachel Shachar is a graduate of the MFA program at UC San Diego. UCSD credits: Danton’s Death, DanceALIVE!, and The Skin of Our Teeth. She also assisted David Zinn at the La Jolla Playhouse on the production of Tobacco Road. She worked in the SF Bay Area interning at Teatro Zinanni as well as designing several productions including: Boys From Syracuse (42nd Street Moon), Making Noise Quietly (Theater First), Media the Musical (Theater Rhinoceros) and Cyrano de Bergerac (Show Gun Players). UC Berkeley Credits: Tooth and Nail, Lab Run, Alls Wells That Ends Well, and (ACD) Marat-Sade. Rachel interned at the New York City Ballet’s costume shop, assisted Holly Hynes at the Julliard School and worked at the Paper Mill Playhouse’s costume shop in 2005-2006.
