Lina Patel

LINA PATEL is an actor/playwright whose plays have been developed and presented at the Lark, New Harmony Project, The New Group, Center Theater Group, and Circle X Theater. Lina’s first commission, That Could Be You, was produced at Silk Road Theater Project, with the Goodman Theater. Lina is currently working on a commission for a new play from Yale Repertory Theater. A critically acclaimed actor, Lina’s favorite roles include, Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest (Pasadena Playhouse), Tunu in Pentecost (Oregon Shakespeare Festival), and the title role in East West Player’s premiere of A Widow of No Importance. On television, Lina has guest- starred on several shows, including Medium, CSI, and Numb3rs. As a voice-over artist, Lina has narrated books for Random House and Penguin, including Faulkner’s As I Lay Dying and Arturo Perez-Reverte’s The Queen of the South.
